If you are new to the renting market and you are currently on the lookout for a property, then you’ve probably come across the term ‘part furnished’. You may know this means that some furniture is included, but as a general rule of thumb you should know this usually means ‘white goods’. White goods will include the fridge, the oven, the hob, the microwave and the beds (usually), but there may be a few more items included too. Unfortunately some estate agencies use the term differently, so you should always check with yours to see exactly what the property comes with, but as a rule of thumb part furnished means the white goods. Fully furnished basically means all of the main furniture, but again, always check with the estate agent first before handing in your application so that you’re not dissapointed when you move in.
