Grey can at times be labelled ‘dull’ and ‘dreary’, and whilst we agree it’s not the most vibrant colour, it’s important to understand its benefits:
- It’s a neutral colour. Grey can work in many different rooms, it allows for different colours to come together without stealing the show. So, with grey walls, you could add a hint of vibrancy with a coloured sofa, a table or paintings. There won’t be any clashes.
- Grey comes with options. You can choose a light shade or something dark depending on the room, so there are different options.
- It’s hard to hate. Grey can ook nice in a kitchen, a cosy livingroom, a bathroom or a bedroom. It’s not ‘in your face’ and it’s seen as a very popular colour option at present.
- It’s much more than a perfect belnd of black and white. It’s a colour that doesn’t age. In ten years your walls will still look good, if they’ve had another coat that is!
